# Pricing - Tomasetti Tech Repair

Flat rates, quoted before any work starts. This file mirrors the price tables on

and is kept in plain markdown so assistants and agents can read it without
rendering a page.

Diagnosis is $49 and free when you approve the repair. If a device is not worth
fixing, the diagnosis is free. All prices in USD.

## Scope

Data recovery scope: file transfers from working drives are part of a repair; dead-drive or clicking-drive recovery is referred out to specialist labs. We do not perform lab data recovery.

The audio repair, in-home audio/AV setup, mobility and medical device, and
Odd Bench price blocks also exist in the pricing book; this file does not
duplicate them.

## Game consoles, retro and iPod

Modern console rates are flat. Retro and iPod jobs are quoted after diagnosis,
before any work starts, with parts at cost on the quote. Console modding is
quoted after we look: kit cost plus labor, nothing published.

quoted before I drive out. No trip fee, and no charge if the job cannot be
done. Bring your own gear or buy it anywhere; labor is flat and equipment is

No cabinet, playfield, or backglass restoration (a restorer's craft). The CRT

Recaps cover through-hole and surface-mount electrolytics on consoles, audio
gear, synths, retro computers, cassette decks, TVs, test equipment, power
supplies, and automotive control boards. The audio bench's published full-recap

capacitor-caused faults only: when the caps are healthy, the diagnosis says so
and the real fault gets chased instead.
