Give them the bench, not a guess
A gift certificate is real credit at our bench: $50, $100, or $200 toward anything we repair, from a laptop that will not boot to a receiver that has earned its rest. It arrives by email in seconds with a printable certificate, and it works on every service we offer, including the Repair Care membership.
Buy a gift certificate
Takes about a minute. Payment is handled by Stripe; the certificate is emailed the moment it clears.
The fine print, in plain words
- No expiration date. The certificate never expires. Use it next week or in three years.
- No dormancy or service fees. The full value stays yours. Nothing is nibbled off for sitting unused.
- Cash back on request for any remaining balance under $5.
- Good toward any service we offer, including the Repair Care membership.
- Spend it in pieces. Apply part of it to one repair and the rest stays on the certificate.
Every certificate carries a code shaped like TT-GC-XXXX-XXXX, chosen from letters and numbers that cannot be misread over the phone. The code is the value: whoever holds it can spend it.
How it works
You buy it
Pick an amount and pay on Stripe's secure page. Card payments only online; at the counter we take cash and check too.
It arrives in seconds
We email the certificate to whoever you choose, with you copied. It comes as a printable PDF as well, so it can go in a card or under the tree.
They bring it in
Call, text, or walk in with the code. We apply it to the repair and tell them the balance. If the repair costs less, the rest stays on the certificate.
Questions
What if the repair costs less than the certificate?
The balance stays on the certificate and never expires. A $200 certificate applied to a $60 repair still has $140 on it, ready for the next thing that breaks.
Does it cover the diagnosis?
Yes. Every repair starts with a $49 diagnosis, and the certificate covers it. If you approve the repair, that diagnosis is free and the credit goes toward the work instead.
Can it pay for a Repair Care membership?
Yes, and this is the part most shops get wrong. Bring the certificate to the counter and we will put it against the membership. Doing it online in one step is coming next.
What can they actually have repaired?
Anything on our bench: computers and laptops, phones and tablets, game consoles and retro gear, audiophile and music equipment, TVs and projectors, e-bikes, drones, pinball, mobility equipment, and the odd things other shops turn away. The full list of lanes is one screen.
Can I get the money back instead?
Any remaining balance under $5 can be taken as cash on request. Beyond that, the certificate is repair credit rather than a refund, so if you need to undo a purchase, call us and we will sort it out directly.
Does it work for mail-in repairs?
Yes. Ship the item in with the code written on the packing slip, or just call and give us the code when we quote. Mail-in is nationwide, and the process is here.
