Your chair, fixed in days. Not weeks.
Independent repair for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lift recliners, patient lifts, hospital beds, and stair lifts. Colorado's Right to Repair law puts the same parts, firmware, and manuals the dealers have into our hands — so you get dealer-grade fixes without the dealer backlog. You approve the price before any work starts.
Powered-wheelchair manufacturers are required by state law to provide parts, embedded software, firmware, tools, and repair documentation to independent repair providers and owners. A manufacturer that refuses is committing a deceptive trade practice — and any contract clause saying you can't use an independent shop is void. We invoke that law on your behalf every week, and a repair by an independent shop does not void your warranty (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act).
What we service
Flat labor rates on common fixes; parts quoted at cost + OEM ordering. Custom work is quoted after bench diagnosis. You approve before anything starts.
Diagnosis
Free when you approveBench test and straight answer. The $35 fee applies only if you decline a fixable repair — and if it's not worth fixing, the diagnosis is free either way.
Battery pack swap + load test
$45 + partsThe most common failure in the mobility world. We load-test the pack, replace what's dead, and verify real runtime before it leaves the bench.
Joystick / controller swap + setup
$95 + partsController replacement or repair, reprogrammed to the manufacturer's original specs for your chair — not a guessed configuration.
Lift-recliner actuator or handset
$65 + partsMotors, handsets, and power supplies for lift recliners. Most "dead" lift chairs are a $40 actuator, not a $1,500 chair.
Hospital bed actuator or handset
$65 + partsHead/foot/height actuators, handsets, and control boxes for home hospital beds. Serviced back to factory operation.
Stair lift service
$85 + partsBatteries, chargers, limit switches, remotes, and drive faults on straight-rail stair lifts. If it stops mid-rail, call us.
Ship-in controller repair
Flat, per quoteAnywhere in the country: pull the joystick or controller, ship it to us, we diagnose within 24 hours of arrival and quote flat. Fix and return shipping included in the quote.
Everything else mobility
$85/hr · quotedManual chairs, rollators, patient lifts, custom work — if it carries a person or needs a circuit, bring it. You approve the quote before we touch a screwdriver.
Why an independent bench
Dealer service is scheduled in weeks and priced like you have a choice. You do — it's the law.
Days, not weeks
The industry's own research (U.S. PIRG, "Stranded") documents wheelchair owners waiting weeks or months for dealer repairs. Our bench targets same-week turnaround, and we tell you straight if a part has to ship.
OEM parts are your legal right
HB22-1031 means the manufacturer has to sell us the same parts, firmware, and manuals the dealer network uses. We order OEM per job — you see the part cost on the quote.
Serviced to spec, not tinkered with
We repair your device to the manufacturer's original safety and performance specifications. No modifications, no "improvements," nothing that changes how the device was intended to work.
The honest answer, free
Sometimes the right call is "don't spend money on this." You'll hear it when it's true — and you won't pay to hear it.
What we don't touch
Some devices we decline on purpose — and we'd rather tell you now than after you've shipped something.
Out of scope, deliberately
- Life-support and high-risk medical devices: ventilators, infusion pumps, AEDs. These belong with manufacturer-certified service only.
- Hearing aids: a licensed-dispenser field in Colorado with its own rules; we don't work on them.
- CPAP / BiPAP / oxygen concentrators: servicing of your own unit only, by prior arrangement — call before sending anything. We never sell reconditioned units.
- Anything we'd modify rather than repair. If the fix requires changing what the device is or does, we'll say so and decline.
Ship the joystick. Yes, really.
A failed controller bricks the whole chair — but the controller itself ships in a small box. Anywhere in the U.S., get an RMA number, pack it, done. The quote includes return shipping.
How ship-in works
- 01Fill out the RMA form — it takes two minutes and you get a number instantly. Note your chair's make/model and the controller part number if you can see it.
- 02Pack the unit well (bubble wrap, snug box). The ship-to address comes with your RMA email.
- 03We diagnose within 24 hours of arrival and text or email a flat quote.
- 04You approve, we fix, we ship it back — return shipping on us.
