How to pack it
Box in a box. Your device in a padded box, that box inside a second box with 2+ inches of padding on all sides. Devices loose in a single bag get destroyed by couriers.
Write your RMA number on the outside. Big and on two sides — it’s how we match the box to your ticket the minute it lands.
Batteries: tape the terminals and bag them separately if they’re removable (power tool packs especially). Couriers reject loose lithium.
Include the charger only if the problem is charging or power. Otherwise it’s one more thing to ship back.
Insurance is never included. Inbound shipping is your label and your call; returns ship uninsured by default, and an insured return can be added on request at carrier cost on your invoice.

How much does a repair cost?
Every repair is different, so we diagnose first: tell us what is happening, we take a look, and you get a straight estimate before any work starts. If it is not worth fixing, we tell you that too.
The diagnosis is free when you approve the repair; a $49 fee applies only if you decline a fixable repair. Everyday jobs have set, flat prices on the Pricing tab: tune-up $99, virus removal $79, data rescue $149, plus flat-rate upgrades and new-computer setup. No hourly meter, and parts are quoted up front.
How long will my repair take?
It depends on the job. Simple repairs are often same-day or next-day; board-level and audiophile work can take a week or two, especially when parts are involved. We give you a timeline with the estimate and keep you posted as it moves along.
Can I track my repair?
Yes. Every repair gets a ticket number you can check any time at repair.tomasetti.shop/status. Prefer a person? Call us and we will tell you exactly where it stands.
Do I need an appointment?
No appointment needed. Walk-ins are welcome any time during shop hours (Mon-Fri 9-6, Sat-Sun 10-3). Send the contact form ahead and we will have the bench ready when you arrive, and if you need a time outside our hours, call or text and we will work something out.
What do you fix?
Audiophile gear, TVs and displays, laptops and desktops, phones and tablets, automotive and marine electronics, power tools, and most anything with a circuit board. If it is repairable, we will find the failing part and fix it, not swap the whole board.
I'm locked out of my phone. Can you get me back in?
If it's your phone, yes. There is no magic bypass — that lock exists for a reason — but the legitimate routes work: Google Find My Device for most Androids, Samsung's Find service for Galaxy phones, or a factory reset through recovery mode. All of them erase the phone, so if the photos and data matter, talk to us before you reset.
One warning: any app, dialer code, or service promising a one-click unlock is a scam or worse. Bring it in and we will take the right route for your exact phone and check what's recoverable first.
Is my data safe while you work on my device?
Your privacy is part of the job. We do not read your files, and any device with personal data is handled on a bench away from the queue. Back your data up before you bring it in when you can, but it stays yours.
